AgeWorks!...The 50+ Employment Leadership Summit is a two day national human resources conference designed to educate and motivate corporate executives about the benefits and importance of hiring, employing, training and retaining mature workers.

Conference content includes general sessions describing the mature worker, the economic reality of an aging population, and the issues involved in mature employment. AgeWorks! also includes how-to sessions and case studies on topics such as benefits, legal issues, recruitment, and training.

EVENTS
Connecticut Veterans Day Parade
Connecticut’s rousing patriotic celebration and salute to its veterans. The Connecticut Veterans Day Parade is an annual state wide event. The parade takes place in downtown Hartford in November on the weekend immediately preceding Veterans Day. In 2003 the parade featured 3,100 marchers, including 28 bands, in six divisions. A crowd of thousands of cheering spectators lined the streets while tens of thousands more watched from home as the parade was televised live by WFSB-TV – Channel 3, a Hartford based CBS affiliate, and carried on cable throughout the state. PME provides turnkey event management services to the Greater Hartford Arts Council.

Trust House, Family Learning Center - Annual Fall Fundraiser
“A Connecticut Yankee In Trust House” was 2002’s theme for PME’s annual pro bono production of Trust House’s award ceremony and fundraiser. The event featured a performance by actor Ken Richters, internationally renowned for his Mark Twain performances. Trust House, a non-profit learning center in Hartford, provides adult basic education, English as a second language, computer literacy, pre-employment training and early childhood experiences for young children. All of its programs support families who are struggling to become self-sufficient.

CCY The Center For Creative Youth - 25th Anniversary
“Come To Where The Art Is” …Summer fun celebrating CCY’s 25th season. PME produced the first reunion of this nationally recognized innovative summer arts education and development program for high school students located on the Wesleyan University Campus.
